NSU is looking for players (and coaches) from outside of New Zealand to play in our teams (across all grades) in upcoming seasons.

 

Our club season runs from March until August each year, with pre-season matches from late February.

 

All matches are played at North Harbour Hockey Stadium, a truly world-class venue, hosting the 2017 Women's World League Final as well as previously hosting the Olympic Qualifying tournament in 2008 and the Champions Trophy in 2011.

We have previously had successful exchanges with players from the UK, Trinidad & Tobago, and Holland, all of whom have enjoyed their time in our country, and their hockey experience.

• the chance to enhance your hockey skills by playing in one of the toughest competitions in New Zealand

• the opportunity to play alongside some current NZ Blackstick representatives

All interested persons must remember that hockey in New Zealand is an amateur sport, so we are unable to pay you to play. Some compensation may be available for suitable coaching candidates. For more information, please contact our President.
